ESI interns are not passive observers. From day one, you will be working alongside our teams on active projects, developing real skills in a professional construction environment. Interns participate in site visits, team meetings, and hands-on learning tailored to their discipline.
Every intern is paired with an experienced mentor who provides guidance, feedback, and a direct connection to the broader ESI team. Many of our full-time employees started as interns.
We are looking for motivated students and recent graduates with a strong work ethic and a genuine interest in the electrical construction industry. Candidates are typically pursuing degrees in electrical engineering, construction management, accounting, marketing, or a related field.
No prior construction experience is required. What matters most is curiosity, reliability, and a willingness to learn. Application requirements include a resume. A cover letter is welcome but not required.
An ESI internship is more than a resume line. It is the beginning of a career in one of Ohio’s most in-demand industries.
