The University of Cincinnati in Ohio is a public research university with an enrollment of more than 42,000 students. This project consisted of installing of a new 345kV substation. The conversion from 15kV electrical service to 345kV allows the university to purchase their power at transmission rates in lieu of distribution rates, which will provide a three-year return on investment.
